The LSU coach then put Amari Drayton’s name up to replace her. As the anchor for the Tigers, Drayton secured 9.925 points in her debut performance.

Earlier KJ Johnson has scored 9.850 points on the floor. With Drayton’s high score, this was dropped from the leaderboard. With Amari Drayton’s score bolstering the total team score, the Tigers finished the championship with an all-time high score in any event.

A panel of 405 sports journalists from 107 nations, who are members of the AIPS, made their decision by casting their votes. The AIPS was established in Paris in 1924 and is now based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Besides this, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognizes the AIPS.
