Simone Biles was spotted spending quality time with husband Jonathan Owens on Monday at Texas’ Toyota Center, watching the Houston Rockets play against Los Angeles Lakers.

The Olympic gymnast, looking stylish in a red set and black blazer, smiled and laughed with the Green Bay Packers safety. Going with the flow of the game, Biles held up a sign that stated “Score: 10.0.”

The power couple witnessed the home team beat LeBron James’ Lakers 135-119.

Biles, the most decorated American gymnast in history, met Owens for the first time in March 2020. The NFL pro, in a recent conversation on The Pivot podcast, revealed that he had never heard of Simone Biles and that they met through an app. Owens said:

But this didn’t go down well with Biles’ fans who found it offending. One such fan said that the star gymnast is a world renowned athlete with millions of fans:

From spending childhood in West Baltimore, one of the most crime-ridden cities in the world, to owning every boxing fight he has been a part of, Gervonta Davis has come a long way. When Davis declared that he was the ‘Face of boxing’, he was not exaggerating. Davis recently defeated Ryan Garcia, another extremely popular fighter. When Garcia was knocked out, it served as a reminder of why ‘Tank’ is one of the best. Everyone Tank has fought has suffered defeat at his hands, but it might have even helped his opponents progress further according to another fighter.

Keyshawn Davis, while in a conversation with FightHypeTV, spoke about Tank Davis’ impact on the people he has fought and apparently, it is huge. Let us see what he had to say.

Gervonta Davis’ team knows how to build stars according to Keyshawn Davis

When asked for his thoughts on Frank Martin being a potential opponent for Tank in March, Davis admitted, “I just love the fact that, you know they call it side of the street so, I just love the fact that on that side of the street, they know how to build stars,” emphasizing Tank’s promotional team’s ability to create “stars.” Davis then highlighted some names that struggled for recognition in the past.

Davis pointed out Isaac Cruz, stating, “When you look at Isaac Cruz, nobody knew Isaac Cruz til he fought Tank.” He reiterated the same example for Mario Barrios and Rolando “Rolly” Romero, who fought Tank back in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Discussing the post-fight impact of facing Tank, Keyshawn commented, “Those guys become stars and make more money than they ever would have expected. So I just like on that side how they create stars,” underscoring the financial and fame benefits gained after challenging the Lightweight champion.

Gervonta Davis

But a fight with Gervonta Davis does not come cheap. There is a prize to pay, according to him.

Gervonta Davis sets conditions for fighting in Saudi Arabia

The Middle East has become a hotspot for boxing events. Having successfully hosted the crossover fight between heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou, Saudi Arabia gained the leverage to host additional events. Subsequently, they organized a formidable card featuring Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder. Presently, the Saudis have expressed an interest in hosting Gervonta Davis for a fight. However, Davis appears hesitant and has even outlined his conditions.

The southpaw has let the people know on his social media that he would need many expensive gifts. He said, They made me mad, if they want me they gotta send me something to my front door..like 2 Ferraris or something!” Davis has enough pull and fame to ask for gifts like these considering the PPV numbers he is able to pull.

Do you genuinely believe that Gervonta Davis turns everyone he fights into stars? Or is Keyshawn perhaps exaggerating the Tank’s impact and fame?

Charlie Woods made quite the impression at the PNC Championship, finishing T5 alongside dad Tiger over two days of action that included the 14-year-old driving a 355-yard hole, before chipping in just 30 minutes later.

While onlookers would have been left in no doubt of the 14-year-old’s burgeoning talent, it appears the commercial world is also taking notice.

During the tournament, Charlie was seen wearing apparel from Greyson Clothiers, and the possibility that he has signed a deal with the company was given more substance when NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald took to Instagram to share a post where he wrote: “Welcome to the

The company also referenced Charlie, sharing an image on Instagram of him taking a shot at the tournament and writing: “Early sights at the @pncchampionship.” However, neither Fitzgerald nor Greyson’s’ posts are still available to view.

While there has also been no official announcement from Greyson Clothiers, the activity is likely to fuel speculation that Charlie’s famous father might also pen an agreement with the company.

The 15-time Major winner has had a long association with Nike, having originally teamed up with the company when he was just 20 years old. However, there have been an increasing number of reports in recent weeks that the relationship may be on the verge of ending, with the PNC Championship potentially his last outing in its apparel.

Charlie Woods

Woods gave a coy response when asked about the sponsorship rumors at the tournament. A reporter asked: “There’s been a lot of chatter the last month or so on your relationship with Nike, and where that’s going. Can you give any clarity to that?” Woods replied: “I’m still wearing their product.” The journalist was then more direct, asking: “Is this the end of it, coming up?” However, Woods simply repeated his answer.

Another association with Greyson Clothiers and the duo is its sponsorship of Justin Thomas, who is a firm friend of Tiger’s.

TaylorMade Golf has also been active on social media with regards to Woods Sr, with his appearance in its annual Christmas advert appearing imminent. The golf equipment manufacturer posted a message on X that read: “Return of the Mac…tomorrow” with the 47-year-old tagged in the accompanying image, which is apparently of the player wearing a Santa costume – a reference to his “Mac Daddy Santa” alias, which he introduced on Twitter (now X) seven years ago.

As for Charlie, it seems he could be in line for huge sponsorship money sooner rather than later. According to Sam Weber, the senior director of communications at NIL Platform Opendorse, he could agree an NIL contract, which would allow him to market his name, image and likeness, despite still being an amateur.

A year ago, he told Sportico: “He’s not a risk for advertisers because of his name recognition alone. That also applies to NIL patrons looking to influence the next generation of the sansabelt set, which is why Charlie could cash in even if he never plays pro golf.”

Tiger Woods is returning to the PNC Championship, the 36-hole event that has become one of his favourites because of his partner – his son, Charlie.

Woods and 14-year-old Charlie will play the event for the fourth straight year. It’s the one tournament he has not missed during the last injury-plagued four years.

“It is an amazing gift to be able to share my love of golf with Charlie and we genuinely do look forward to playing in the PNC Championship all years,” Woods said on Wednesday.

“Competing together, against a field of so many golfing greats and their families, is so special.”

The event takes place on December 16-17 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando at Grande Lakes.

Woods and Charlie were runners-up in 2021, just 10 months after Woods badly damaged his right leg and ankle in a car crash in Los Angeles. They finished seventh in their 2020 debut and tied for eighth last year.

Charlie Woods

Woods is to play next week at his Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas for the first time since surgery to fuse his right ankle in April after the Masters.

Because the PNC Championship is run by the PGA Tour Champions, Woods is allowed to ride in a cart.

The tournament is for major champions or winners of The Players Championship. It began as a father-son outing and now, tour players can play with sons and daughters, grandchildren, even parents as their partners.

New to the field this year is a formidable pair of Steve Stricker, who won three of the four majors he played on the PGA Tour Champions this year, and daughter Izzi, a state high school champion in Wisconsin.

Padraig Harrington is playing for the sixth year, this time with youngest son Ciaran instead of Paddy.

“It was actually Ciaran watching Paddy and I play together out there these last couple of years that really ignited his passion for the game, which shows what a very special event this is,” Harrington said.

“He must have watched me play in hundreds of events over the years and it has taken the unique atmosphere and experience of the PNC Championship to inspire him!”

Also back is Lee Trevino, who at 84 is the only player to have competed in the PNC Championship every year since it began in 1995.

ABC talk show The View’s co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin recently argued over Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles’s viral podcast interview from December 2023.

In December 2023, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens sat down for a podcast interview with Pivot. During the conversation, the NFL player was talked about the origins of his relationship with Biles. Owens revealed that he did not know the four-time Olympic gold medalist before he started dating her. He said in the interview:

He also stated that he was the “catch” in their relationship. The interview sparked controversy on the internet, inviting mixed reactions from fans.

Simone Biles

Recently, co-hosts of the popular daytime show The View, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin, also reacted to Owens’s statement and shared their opinion on Biles and Owens as a couple.

On Jonathan Owens not knowing Biles before dating her, Hostin said:

However, co-host Griffin defended the Green Bay Packers’ safety, stating:

Sunny Hostin stated that she wanted more for the Olympic star, saying:

Attending the Lakers vs Rockets game tonight was Simone Biles and husband, Jonathan Owens. Sitting courtside, the couple had a complete view of the happenings of the game. And what Owens saw seemed to shock him. Aside from the blowout 119-135 loss to Houston, there were a few instances that showcased that basketball can get just as aggressive as the NFL. Particularly, a few instances that involved LeBron James.

While we would imagine Dillon Brooks to headline this, surprisingly, it was a Rockets’ rookie, among others, who took the lead this time. Owens, meanwhile, took to Instagram to share his surprise and shock live.

Owens’ live commentary of the Lakers vs Rockets game on his IG story

It’s undebatable that the emotions and feel of a live game can be surpassed by anything else. And that includes feeling every punch, hit, fall, and more. Being part of a high-contact sport himself, Owens understands this better than anyone else. So, to watch the whole incident play out in front of him had the Green Bay Packers safety caption his story with, “Oh he tried to take off.” In the video, Jalen Green can be seen taking possession of the ball from the Lakers and crossing across to eventually pass to Cam Whitmore who ‘tried to take off’ but unfortunately missed the shot.

Green and Alperen Sengun led the Rockets tonight. Their explosive scoring was no match for the 39-year-old James. Both landing double-doubles, the young Rockets ensured that Bron knew that he was their prey for the night. Sengun had 31 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists. Green led the scorers with 34 points while contributing 12 rebounds and seven assists of his own.

While they were busy directing the narrative, rookie Cam Whitmore was creating a story of his own. The 2023 No. 20 draft pick seemed to be proving a point as he took every possible chance to dunk on LeBron. Take, for instance, this almost posterizing dunk in the second quarter.

Another instance saw him dunk on the 4x champion, grab the ball and casually hand it over to him. This wasn’t a lone incident. The Rockets are known for their game plan of targeting older players. Throughout the game, this was apparent, as they availed every opportunity to showcase that they weren’t afraid of the ‘Akron Hammer’. Sengun himself got one over the veteran player in the third quarter.

While this was going on, The Villian also tried to make his presence known as he went about with his dirty tactics on the court.

LeBron James gets swatted on the head by Dillon Brooks

The fourth quarter saw Davis sidelined with a groin injury and the team could have lost LeBron too. Trying to land a shot, Bron wasn’t ready for an arm from Brooks right behind him. Not a second went by before the entire arena saw him go down because of the impact.

Although he was assessed a flagrant 1 foul for the hit, the 4x champion believes Brooks should have been ejected on a flagrant 2. Bron refused to comment on the incident later on, but his brother-in-arms, Anthony Davis, had plenty to say. AD called the refs out for blatantly ignoring, first the Vanderbilt incident, and then the blatant hit on LeBron.

Anyway, this was the final matchup between the two teams. The Lakers will have to wait quite a bit to extract a retribution.

Kristin Juszczyk has become the talk of the town after agreeing to an official licensing deal with the NFL for her custom clothing designs. Her groundbreaking contract means that she is now authorized to blend any of the league’s team logos into her merchandise.

After securing the deal, Juszczyk received praise from several high-profile sports stars. This includes iconic American gymnast Simone Biles, who jumped on the bandwagon to congratulate her.

The seven-time Olympic gold medalist took to her Instagram story to react to a post confirming Juszczyk’s NFL collaboration. Biles wrote:

Biles, who has previously worn outfits designed by Juszczyk, also added:

Kristin, who is the wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, has been grabbing headlines of late. She has styled some of the biggest names associated with the NFL in recent months, including 12-time Grammy award winner Taylor Swift.

Swift donned a customized jersey puffer coat designed by Juszczyk when she was seen at Arrowhead Stadium earlier this month to attend the Kansas City Chiefs vs Miami Dolphins wild-card game.

The outfit had her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s name and number stylishly printed on the back and front.

As per reports, Kristin has also designed customized jackets for actor Taylor Lautner, and Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs’ superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

However, it’s safe to say that Kristin Juszczyk will be supporting her husband Kyle when the Chiefs lock horns 49ers at the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 11.

Amateur Nick Dunlap, already a PGA Tour winner, has turned professional and will make his pro debut at Pebble Beach.

Sound familiar?

Well, Dunlap, the Alabama sophomore who last Sunday at The American Express became the first amateur to win a PGA Tour event in over three decades, isn’t the first amateur Tour champ to launch his pro career on the iconic Monterey Peninsula links. In fact, Phil Mickelson, who won the 1991 Northern Telecom Open as an Arizona State junior, also debuted at Pebble.

Unlike Dunlap, who declared Thursday that he’d be forfeiting his remaining college eligibility in time for next week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Mickelson opted to return to school for a fourth year. He ended up a four-time All-American and three-time NCAA individual champion. Mickelson then turned pro and qualified for 1992 U.S. Open via final qualifying at Farmington Country Club in Germantown, Tennessee.

“I’m just excited because I can’t think of a better place to start a professional career than Pebble Beach and the U.S. Open,” Mickelson told reporters that day.

Phil Mickelson

“I think I can look back on this day 20, 30 years from now on the start of my professional career and say, ‘I birdied my first hole in my professional debut. Shot 68 in that round in the United States Open Championship.’ I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome,” Mickelson told reporters before later adding, “I’m just trying to figure out how to play a good second round now.”

Of course, Mickelson wouldn’t figure it out – at least that week. He backed up his 68 with an 81. He doubled the par-4 11th, tripled the par-4 third and carded just one birdie, at the par-5 18th hole.

Five years later, Mickelson got his winning moment at Pebble, winning the Pro-Am in 1998. He’d add wins at Pebble in 2005, 2007, 2012 and 2019.

that his pre-round routine has become only more important as he’s aged.

“Usually, before tournaments, before I play, I’m in the gym doing some kind of stretching, physical therapy,” Mickelson told GOLF’s Dylan Dethier on the latest episode of Warming Up (check out the full episode below). “But a lot of times, at home, I’ll just go out and play early rounds, and so I leave these [bands] on my cart or in my golf bag.”

For Mickelson, getting some reps in with resistance bands is an easy way to prepare his body for the rigors of tournament play.

“There’s basic exercises that I have to do to get my body kind of activated before I go play,” he said. “So, I have these bands and I’ll just latch them onto the edge of the cart.”

Check out Mickelson’s favorite pre-round moves with resistance bands below.

Former WBO heavyweight champion and sparring partner of Tyson Fury, Joseph Parker, has look ahead to ‘The Gypsy King’s’ undisputed title challenge against unified title-holder Oleksandr Usyk, assuring fans that the Brit will ‘take care of business’.

The long-awaited undisputed showdown is just weeks away and fans and pundits alike remain split as to whom may come out on top.

One opinion is that Tyson Fury’s arguable career-best wins over Deontay Wilder have been diminished after his good friend Parker whitewashed the ‘Bronze Bomber’ last month.

Meanwhile, Fury’s below-par display against Francis Ngannou has only added to doubts that he can topple the tricky Ukrainian, despite his obvious physical advantages.

Oleksandr Usyk

However, Parker told Boxing News that he has full confidence in the abilities of Fury is expecting the WBC title-holder to get the job done.

Fury-Usyk takes place on February 17th in Riyadh, with an undercard featuring Jai Opetaia and Sergey Kovalev now confirmed, ahead of the battle to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era and the first of any kind since 2000.
