Floyd Mayweather Jr. didn’t develop “Money” as a middle/nick name out of randomness. The former boxer earned an incredible amount of money throughout his 50-fight career, and he continues to carve out profits any which way in retirement.
Mayweather has never been shy about flaunting his money in everyone’s faces, which he most definitely did in a video he shared on Saturday.

Posted on his personal Instagram account, Mayweather takes us on a tour through his “extended wheelbase” Rolls-Royce.
With him in the backseat is a pair of briefcases filled with tons of cash. He reveals the money is for rapper NBA YoungBoy, who happens to have a child with Yaya Mayweather, Floyd’s daughter.
YoungBoy has been on house arrest since 2021 while he awaits trial for federal gun charges. He’s currently residing in Utah.
Although Mayweather’s gesture appears to be well-intentioned since he has mentioned in the past he considers YoungBoy to be like his son, some people aren’t totally sold on that. Some suggest he’s paying YoungBoy to stay out of his grandson’s life.
