Simone Biles, today, stands as the most decorated gymnastics star ever with about 37 medals to her name. From Olympic titles to the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the 26-year-old adorns a coveted path. Following along, these accolades mark Simone as a viable prospect for brands looking towards robust PR and marketing. While United Airlines, Uber Eats, Visa, and more have known it well, GK Elite and Athleta have taken the lead well. With the latter launching a recent festive collection in collaboration.

As for GK Elite, the 4-time Olympic gold medalist has held a partnership with the brand since 2015. On frequent occasions, Biles has found an opportunity to express her creativity through gymnastic apparel. Now once again honoring the long-standing deal, Biles unveiled a little holiday surprise for gymnastics enthusiasts.

A gymnast can never have enough leotards. And keeping up with that schtick, GK Elite goes out to introduce collections for every occasion. Now, with Christmas around the corner, a better surprise from the Simone-GK Elite partnership couldn’t have reached the enthusiasts. In the announcement, Biles embraced a red leotard embossed with a gold print posing a belt, cross strips on the back, and ‘Simone’ to the left corner. “it’s the holiday season. Get in the spirit in my @gkelite Golden Gilded leo,” Biles wrote, sharing the post.

This isn’t the first time Simone has gotten creative with the collection. Through her almost-decade partnership with GK Elite, Biles has introduced Leos with empowering and heartwarming meaning behind customizations. Being the first-one to do so along the way.

According to Business Wire, in 2021, GK Elite and Biles collaborated on the first-ever athlete-designed competitive leotards as part of the Simone Biles Legacy Collection. Since then, she has designed about 16 pieces ranging in styles, colors and prints. The first series included Replica competitive leotards, Signature training leotards, and Legacy customizable competitive leotards. However, one among all outdid the rest.

In May, a month after her marriage with Jonathan Owens, Biles released a limited-edition leotard that paid homage to her own wedding. The gymnast named it “something blue” making it the only design in the history of GK to be inspired by events from outside the realm of competition. The design sported baby blue tunes partnered with white and little pearls around the torso. Festive season or not, Biles’ collections are the ones to look forward to.
